이게무슨일이야 (What’s Happening?) is finally here. The album is here. So like I mentioned on a this post I was waiting for my album to arrive. Now that I finally have it I can share the cool photos with you guys. I got it a few days ago but I am still happy and excited about the whole album. I always get excited when I get new album. They are just perfectly done.
Besides fangirling because it is of my favorite KPop group or whatever all the details that go to making this albums regarding to the design and packaging is awesome. There is always something different new and unique to each of the album. So there you have anoter reason why I buy them it is not only for the music but the presentation as well.
This album came with an 88pages photobook, the album, a sticker sheet -and I got my bias CNU- and also the poster. All this for around $24 including shipping… the horrendous but so needed shipping. Anyways here are the photos I hope you like it as much as I did. It is so colorful and fun just like B1A4.

Warning this will be written in a fan point of view “fangirling hardcore” sorry. Carry on….
Yes! Finally after almost six months… B1A4 is back. All the feels. As usual we where teased and trolled by WM Entertainment. The same week of their anniversary they confirmed they where dropping an album on May 6. So after that I knew may was going to be a little chaotic. Since I’m running some local pages related to B1A4 there is always something to do and update about. The comeback season is pretty intense. The timezone doesn’t help at all but in the end it is all worth it. Now lets go to the important part. I am going to do a couple of posts on this so… hang on. I will first post the teaser images for their comeback if you don’t mind. This teasers where revealed from April 23rd starting with leader Jinyoung to April 27th ending with the maknae Gongchan. After all the teasers where revealed we where left with a question… What’s Happening? and to be honest we had no idea what was going on. It just made us feel more anxious and wonder…. What’s happening? (이게무슨일이야)
Meet Lee Hi (Lee Ha Yi / 이하이) the new kid on the block that is sweeping the music charts in South Korean on her own .just with her amazing voice and awesome tracks. I think it is the first time that I actually pay attention to a soloist rookie (they release one like every day over there so the battle is harsh).
A little info on Lee Hi. She is pretty young. She is only 16 and still attends high school at SOPA (School of Performing Arts in Seoul). She ended up been the runner-up on KPop Survival Star
on April 29 2012 and after that she signed to YG Entertainment
by no other than appa CEO Yang Hyun Suk
On October 28 2012 she debuted with the single 1, 2, 3, 4
. Originally she was supposed to debut later on as part of a girl group Su Pearls that the company was building but that all got canceled after they saw Lee Hi full potential while she sweeping off the charts with her single. Now a few months later as a soloist she is back with her new first full album titled First Love
. The promoted songs of this albums are It’s Over and Rose (both videos below).
- It’s Over was released on March 7 2012 as First Love Part 1 along with other songs. It is about a girl that gets tired of her bad boy… boyfriend and calls it quits with him. It is cute and you will see this HUGE -baby blue bad boy dancing- teddy bear that I think will become her icon logo for her increasing fandom. Totally cheesy video of Lee Hi been cute her age.
- Rose was released on March 28 2012 as First Love Part 2 along with the rest songs of the album. Rose haves a completely different feel and mood. It is a calmed and painful warning… every rose has it thorns. She is requesting not to be love… because you might get hurt by the thorns of her love which she is comparing to a rose. Pretty emotional and gorgeous video. (my favorite from all so far).
I’ve to say that appa Yang Hyun Suk must be really happy with Lee Hi. he is spending lots of money on her.is treating her like the baby of the family. He does treat the rest equally but honestly she is the baby. Already gave her a new apartment so she can live with her mom closer to the company. This way she doesn’t have to travel from far away back and forth since it is near the YG studios. Her unnies from 2NE1 are taking good care of her and her oppas from Big Bang are watching everyone so no one messes up with the baby girl of the family
I really hope she stays simple and keeps this type of style of jazz, R&B and soul for a long time. That is the reason why she stands out from the rest cause she is not your regular young KPop singer. The first time I heard her songs she reminded me of Duffy
(from UK). I think that YG did well on making her a soloist cause other wise maybe we wouldn’t even know who she was. When you are part of a girl group things your voice sometimes fades away with the looks of other members.
I look forward to her career and hope she stays around for a long time. It’s gonna be hard to make her grow up in front of the media but I know that YG Entertainment will do it the right way. I am sure they will be over protective of their baby.
Just wanted to share two sites I’ve been using a lot lately to keep lists of my dramas and movies.
It is free and it allows you to do as many lists as you want of whatever you want. It is available for iPhone (wish it was available for android). It is quite good and simple to use. They also let you “customize” your profile with a background and changing the colors of your list just like if they where post its. You can also favorite other users lists and it haves a lot of other nice things on it so check it out.
On mydramalist.com is oriented to Asian dramas and movies (Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong). The good thing about this that it lets you keep track of what you are watching or have watched. You can set up the what you want to watch what you have on hold and what you started to watch but stopped watching. Also it lets you write reviews about the movies or dramas. You get to read other peoples reviews and comments as well so you can decide what you want to see or even recommend others any drama or movie.
Earlier today I finally got to see Rurouni Kenshin
live action movie. I’ve been waiting for this movie to be done for more than 10 years. I was pretty excited when some years ago I read somewhere that it would be done into a live action. Of course I was worried cause I wasn’t sure how that would turn out. If the story would change if the actors won’t do the characters well and so on.
I have to say that I am more than pleased with the movie. It did stayed loyal to the characters and the story of the whole anime. I never read the manga cause it is way to long but I also never finished the anime ’cause it was around 95 episodes and back in the day (circa 1996) they repeated them a lot on tv so I kind of lost track of it. Anyways… I did saw the OVAs and a movie but again it was so long ago that I barely remember the main plot of those just random detail. No worries… I am already downloading the whole thing again so I can watch it again.
If you are wondering what I am talking about I will share some info and links with you so you get an idea of what everything is about. Rurouni Kenshin is about Himura Kenshin
formerly known as the Hitokiri
Battosai becomes a wanderer to protect the people from Japan. The story takes place during the early Meiji Period in Japan.
A little side note…
It means a lot to me. While I was watching it with my dad he was asking me who the character where… even my sister did. It felt good, really good that they still remember the names and people on it after all this years. My dad used to watch it with me sometimes and I fed up everyone in my house with it. Yes, Rurouni Kenshin was my first anime. I fell in love with it. This was the series that made me fall in love with Japan and the Meiji Era. It made me a happy otaku
back then. I was on my first year of college and I remember that I woke up at 8:00AM just to watch this before leaving to college. If I couldn’t see it I would leave the VCR recording it and watch it later. Ouh Yes I did. I remember that I got so much into the Meiji Period that I spent a lot of time on the college library reading, copying and taking home books related to this era. Good times. Good times. I bought all the toy characters and have them very well kept on their original packaging. Thank You.
If you haven’t watch it please do so.
Another brilliant movie by Wes Anderson.
A simple story told by a fantastique cast.
It is here. Finally here. After two weeks of waiting for my album it finally arrived. I am a happy BANA. I pre ordered the album just in case it went sold out. I am still missing the poster but it shold be arriving on Monday or Tuesday. I already made a review of the album here
. I’m also thrilled cause I got CNU’s photo card. Now I’m only missing Gongchan’s card and I can say I god a different one from every album they have done. I only have Baro “repeated” cause his photo card came on their Japanese full album 1 -which you can check out here
It looks so gorgeous and I loved the photo book. I tried to take a video of the photo album. Not sure if it will help at all but there it is. I hope you enjoy it. I’m also waiting for a dustcap for my cellphone and the Star1 magazine where they just come out. those should be home around my birthday… date.
